Of Being Myself

I was just thinking what my first entry of this blog would be like. And guess what? An interesting event happened just a while ago. Perhaps this is a good start for me to start pen down some funny, memorable, unexpectable and humourous experiences! Well, at least to me. I guess weird things really happen to me…

Anyway, was having lunch with two of my good friends. Apparently one of my friends ask me about my ex, and I wondered which one. He pointed out the one I went to prom with, and I told him I thought he meant another. So, casually, he ask me what is he (the one I went prom with) doing now. I said he is a doctor now and right after the word ‘Doctor’ came out from my mouth, I saw a guy on the next table looked at me. Oh My Gosh! It’s the Doctor. I was so embarassed that I was smiling at him and blab that we were talking about him. After that, I looked back at my friends and we all giggled(also laughed a bit) on how I could talk about someone who is right in front of me, and someone I’ve hardly meet in this small town. I’ve met him last year, about 5 months ago and that was our first encounter after high school. That is how I know he is a doctor now. How embarassing. Right in front of me. Talking about my past. Hope he didnt think I’m gossiping about him or that sort. It was a question and I just answered. Bad bad friend who makes me think I always deserve some karma whenever I defended my girlfriend. Deserve it or not, I think I shall converse less about other people’s affairs. Or perhaps, should monitor my surroundings before blabbing unnecessary things.

Phew. Tell me, does this kind of unexpected situation ever happen to you? What a day to begin with. And what an entry to start with.
