Of Being Myself

As I drove out this morning to send 2 of my adorable nephews (they are only adorable in the morning because they are not hyperactive and nosiy ) I was thinking to myself what would I want to pen down today.

I was peacefully enjoying my songs (that I’ve uploaded to my pendrive) when suddenly it was interrupted. Okay, let me digress a tiny bit. For those who are confused of me talking about pendrive, enjoying my songs in my car,  I have this thing called FM Modulator that could allow you to listen to songs(specifically mp3) using your USB pendrive or memory card  (if you use USB card reader- I have tried it so it works)

I’m not good at defining an object, so here is some explanation I’ve extracted from some website for understanding:

“The MP3 FM Modulator is an MP3 player that plugs into your cigarette lighter in your car and transmits the signal via FM. The Modulator has no internal memory, you are required to supply it with any USB flash drive. Buttons on the front allow you to skip forward back and pause the music. There is also an audio input for any other portable device you want plug in.”

Ok. Back to being interrupted. So I was listening to an upbeat song when there’s some kind of english mellow song interfered. Sound like some remix. Hahaha. I have heard before from therese that if she is listening to some songs using undesignated frequency on the radio, I could listen to it too if I’m in a different car with the same frequency in approximate area.

So what did I do this morning? Listening to other people’s songs. Yup. I did that. I unplug mine, and start listening to this english song which I’m unfamiliar of. My curiuosity increases, wondering where does this frequency come from. I am on the road, with so many other cars on beating the morning traffic. I suspected the frequency cames from the car in front of me, and I was right because other cars were either speeding off or turning into different directions. Other than frequency clash, the car looks pretty familiar. I’ve seen it before.. And ya, I know who she was after I figured out. She didn’t notice me. At least I think she wasn’t. She fast forward a few chinese songs and then come along this old time favourite song. Selina – Dreaming of you. I was hoping that she didnt fast forward the song. Manage to listen to that song from start to end.

I know I sound a little wacko. Like, why don’t you get your own songs? It’s a fine morning and I’m enjoying the drive to work so I kinda go crazy a little bit. Previously I had these kind of interruptions before but I never bother. Perhaps I am in a hurry to a place or the idea just didnt pop up in my head.

I do wonder, if half of the population here have that FM modulator in the future, will we be having interruptions frequently when we listen to our songs on a Sunday drive? I mean, doesn’t it make sense? The unused frequency is just as that much, and I’m talking about the probability of half of the population who could be very much in gadgets and technology. But then again, who knows the FM modulator might be replaced by a better product that doesn’t use radio frequency? Now, what about that?

Pep Talk: So who interrupt who? Was I consider intruding her personal space? I wonder if she did hear the upbeat song from my side too when this frequency clash happens?
