I still recall him telling me “I love you” few years back.
I remembered that my lips didn’t utter “I love you too” back.
I remembered his look when I just keep quiet.
Perhaps that is why he left too soon for me to say “I love you too.”
But now I realized God has a bigger plan for me.
The plan has yet to be unveiled. We’ll see soon.

I will start my 40 days fasting from meat starting tomorrow. Wish me luck. Doing this with my colleague. For those whom I’m going to lunch with, please remind me to refrain from ordering food that contains meat just in case I forgot because I am very absent-minded nowadays. (I know my girlfriend will remind me. Hehe)
Reason behind this? I have been wanting to do this for a long time. This is only the first few steps before I resolute in joining the skip-a-meal programme, the one World Vision Malaysia aiming to achieve in fighting against hunger and poverty around the world.
I still vividly remember advice from a friend, that all our dreams begin with a collection of small steps; that if we try to aim our dreams with big leaps, this will deter us from moving forward should we crush head-on.
Even so, this is not easy for me, so pray for me ya~

Always Answers Prayer
When the idea is not right God says, “No.”
No – when the idea is not the best
No – when the idea is absolutely wrong
No – when though it may help you, it could create problems for someone else.
When the time is not right, God says, “Slow.”
What a catastrophe it would be if God answered every prayer at the snap of your fingers.
Do you know what would happen?
God would become your servant, not your master.
Suddenly God would be working for you instead of you working for God.
Remember: God’s delays are not God’s denials. God’s timing is perfect. Patience is what we need in prayer.
When you are not right, God says, “Grow.”
The selfish person has to grow in unselfishness.
The cautious person must grow courage.
The timid person must grow in confidence.
The dominating person must grow in sensitivity.
The critical person must grow in tolerance.
The negative person must grow in positive attitudes.
The pleasure-seeking person must grow in compassion for suffering people.
When everything is all right, God says, “Go.”
Then miracles happen:
A hopeless alcoholic is set free!
A drug addict finds relief!
A doubter becomes as a child in his belief.
Diseased tissue responds to treatment and healing begins.
The door to your dream suddenly swings open and there stands God saying, “Go!”

I miss coffee. Also lately I have been detached from the Internet when I’m off work. Usually it’s very automatic that whenever I go home, my finger will just press the switch ON button of my CPU and start my usual routine by signing in MSN and Yahoo. Previously,I login into Skype as well.
Last month was quite an interesting month with Rainforest Festival, and then heading to Kota Kinabalu again for some seminars, and then when I’m back, tons of work waiting for me to do. I will post up some pictures up in Flickr soon for these two events.
This month is indeed another interesting month. My friends from Singapore is coming back end of this August and I can’t wait to meet up with the couple. Kuching Festival started already and I have yet to go, maybe one of these days. Well, it is once a year thingy, so for me, I would go at least once to see what varieties of food they got to offer. Kuching Parade tomorrow! Hmm… So far, I’ve never attended one before (I think!) but kinda curious how’s the parade like. Will see how it goes.
Oh ya, why I miss coffee? Because usually I will take a cup of coffee each day,regardless the time but now seem like I’m not so addicted to it. Trying to cut down the intake because there’s research that says taking too much coffee is bad for you. Another reason why I hardly take it now is because I got my stomach upset whenever I drink one. Funny how now my body refuses it. Hehe… I still want to drink coffee~~ Now there are two choices where I can get a good cup of coffee: Coffee Bean or Starbucks? By the way, which one is better?? What is your preferences really? Or better still, the good old coffee from your usual Kopitiam??
