I have said I love you.. August 9, 2007

I still recall him telling me “I love you” few years back.
I remembered that my lips didn’t utter “I love you too” back.
I remembered his look when I just keep quiet.
Perhaps that is why he left too soon for me to say “I love you too.”
But now I realized God has a bigger plan for me.
The plan has yet to be unveiled. We’ll see soon.
I didn’t say “I love you” back either. I was totally unprepared. I didn’t know how to react but I knew I had to say something back. The words that came out were – “thank you..” (O.O;)
If a man received a thank you after a “I love you”, will it be disheartening not knowing if that is a mutual feeling? A thank you is rather vague, it’s like “I appreciate you love me but I’m not sure about my feelings for you” kinda thought? Or simply we are quite reserved with our “I love you” that makes us pretty much not well received in the society?
I agree. The words just came out at the spur of the moment. Looking back, I still laugh about it.. wondering what made me said that. Oh well, that’s history now
I guess a ‘thank you’ is better than total silence. It’s either you speechless or just that you are not listening. At least a ‘thank you’ means you appreciated his love but yet ready to say that precious words back. Maybe I should use that on..OIL. haha!

This reminds me of manga/anime stories where the poor guy confesses only to get his face kicked in. *Haizzz*
